Inspired by a recent visit — and by the long queue for The Veil at Snallygaster last weekend — Phil wanted to showcase the beers of Richmond, Virginia. Join him at the tasting bar this week for a set of excellent options all sourced from within a surprisingly tight, walkable radius in a city just a short train ride away. Whether you believe that Christmas starts at the stroke of midnight on Halloween or not until the Friday after Thanksgiving, I think we can all agree that we are entering the festive season. It's time to celebrate and give thanks for the good things the past year has brought us, and we've put together a new six-pack to help out, with a focus on festive, versatile, crowd-pleasing wines. This Sunday, we are delighted to be hosting founder and winemaker John Lockwood of Enfield Wine Co. at the tasting bar! Since 2010, he has been dedicated to producing wines with a story to tell, wines that are rooted in the soil and carry with them immense personality and sense of place. He works only with small vineyards and independent growers, and every step of the winemaking process is intended to maximize the character of the terroir.
