What's for Dessert? – Sweet and Fortified Wines!

There are few things more delightful than a small glass of dessert wine at the end of a holiday meal or sitting by the fire with a tipple of port or madeira. Sadly, these wines are often overlooked. Whether it's because there's a cultural bias against sweet wines, or because these wines tend not to be associated with the latest trends and fashions in winemaking, or some other reason, dessert and fortified wines just don't seem to pique people's interest.
