The world of Sauvignon Blanc tends to be divided into two big classifications: "Loire-style" and "New Zealand-style." And there is certainly a stark contrast between the crisp, fresh, and grassy wines of Sauternes and the ripe, fleshy, and tropical wines of Marlborough. But the bipolar view of this grape obscures the nuance and variety of Sauvignon Blanc that comes from other places.
So this week, on Wednesday, July 12, we'll be exploring a slice of the Sauvignon spectrum! Join us at the bar from 4pm to 7pm to taste some delicious examples of Sauvignon Blanc from around the world.
Tickets for our regular Wednesday tastings are $15, and the wines in the lineup are all 10% off during the tasting.
