Cabernet Sauvignon is the most widely-planted wine grape in the world, and it is among the red varietals with the best name recognition. Even if you don't know much about wine, you've probably heard the name Cabernet and tasted more than on example.
It's popularity is due in part to the fact that it's fairly easy to grow and that it's flavor profile is very consistent over a wide range of regions and climates. However, Cabernet's consistency and ubiquity can be a bit of a drawback, because it gives the perception that all Cabernet is alike and not particularly interesting. Everybody already knows what Cabernet tastes like, right?
Well, this week we want to challenge that perception. So join us on Instagram Live on Friday, January 14 at 4pm to explore the world of Cabernet Sauvignon!
