The term "420" as we know it today was invented by a group of California high school kids known as "The Waldos". Every day at 4:20 pm they would post up under some bleachers and smoke a doobie. The term wasn't popularized, however, until 1990 when a group of deadheads gave out fliers at a Grateful Dead show encouraging people to smoke "420" on April 20th at 4:20pm. This ignited the trend around the nation, making April 20th a "holiday" of sorts.
Join us on the special day April 20th at 4pm (or 4:20 if you are so inclined) to 7pm as we taste through some dank and resinous beers on a dank and resinous day.
