Single-hopped IPAs for IPA Day 2026

Last time we checked, IPA and its sub-styles still very much dominated "craft beer" — pale lager still reigns supreme worldwide, all things considered, but in the pointy end of the beer industry, IPA has been the star for four decades. So there's no need to "raise awareness" on IPA Day; let's get specific, instead. On Thursday (August 6, from 4-7pm), Phil will have six single-hopped examples of various styles and strengths tell the story of how that signature ingredient and that influential style have formed a feedback loop and evolved together.
