The Rhône Valley, south of Lyon, has produced some truly great wines. The appellations of Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, and Chateauneuf-du-Pape, to name a few, are all justly celebrated around the world for producing profound, elegant, and delicious wines. Perhaps more importantly, the Rhône has given the world a collection of grape varieties (many of them originally Spanish) and a tradition of blending that has inspired generations of winemakers in every part of the world, from Washington State, to Chile, to Australia, and beyond.
This week, we'll be exploring the wines of the Rhône, as well as some of the wines that draw their inspiration and source material from the region. Join us on Friday, December 3 at 4pm on Instagram Live to learn more!
