Eric's Free Run Wild West Adventure

In September, our GM and Arbiter of Taste Eric was invited on a trip to California wine country with one of our long time business partners, Free Run Wine Merchants. On this trip, Eric's first both as a wine professional and to California, the group visited 14 wineries over the course of a week. Walks through vineyards, tasting grapes off the vine, tasting rocks, conversations with vineyard managers and winemakers, and of course, tasting a lot of wine. For Eric, it was a great opportunity to put empirical data and experience together with more than a decade of intellectual and professional pursuit of wine. And now it's time to share.

Over the course of two Feature Wednesday tastings on November 4 and November 18, we are pleased to open and share many of the wines Eric experienced during the trip. In addition, check out our Harvest and Holiday Six Packs this year for two more selections from the trip. Join us from 4-7 pm for these tastings and to hear some stories and see some pictures from the trip.
