Bordeaux

Bordeaux is unarguably one of the most famous wine regions in the world. It's centuries-old reputation for excellence has made its wines a benchmark for winemakers around the world. The home of Cabernet and Merlot, Bordeaux produces wines that, at their best, have richness, depth, elegance, and structure, and can age for decades. The most famous wines of Bordeaux have become status symbols and cult objects, commanding eye-watering prices on the international market. In the battleground of consumer perceptions, this has given the wines of Bordeaux a not entirely unearned reputation as being inaccessible and inhospitable to anyone without deep pockets and a deep cellar. But fear not, for those of us on a normal budget, there is still a lot of excellent wine from Bordeaux that is available to us.

Join us on Wednesday, October 16 from 4pm to 7pm to taste through a selection of well-priced Bordeaux wines designed to give a sense of the traditions and range of this storied region.

Tickets for our Wednesday tastings are $15, and the wines are 10% off during the tasting.
