Before there were states, there were colonies. They belonged to the British for a while, but then we decided that was bunk. Granted, back in the day it was more cider than beer. More rye whiskey than bourbon (cause it hadn't been invented yet) and more Madeira than fine still wine. But still. 250 years on, Americans have charged to the forefront of the global craft beer movement, so we are going to celebrate by populating our beer tasting with beer that originates from our original 13 colonies. Stop in on Thursday, July 2 from 4-6pmfor a taste of Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Massachusetts.
