Transitioning into Spring

The days are getting longer, and the sun feels a bit warmer. Spring vegetable salads, maybe a lighter dinner outside give us a chance to embrace wines that celebrate the season. We highlight some of our everyday fresh, aromatic white wines, lighter reds, and rosé for the transition to Spring. The 2019 Antonins Bordeaux Blanc is new to the store, but it's an exhilarating expression of the Sauvignon Blanc with a touch of Semillon. The Tevza Crazy Alive spends 4-6 weeks in qvevri with skin contact for a bright, energetic orange wine. The 2019 Alessandra Viola blends Nero d'Avola and Nerello Mascalese from Sicily for a "Rosso Isi", a light, easy drinking red full of spice.
